Enjoy a hot bowl of chili and bid on cool products and services — while supporting a college scholarship fund — at the annual Chili Supper & Silent Auction hosted by the Tennessee Tech Women's Club, set for 5:15 tonight in the Multipurpose Room.

Proceeds from the annual spring scholarship fund-raiser, now in its 19th year, benefit freshman women.

Dinner will be served between 5:15 and 7 p.m. while silent bids are taken. The menu includes a traditional red chili, as well as a vegetarian soup, salad, drinks and homemade desserts.

Bids will be awarded from 7:30 to 8 p.m. In addition to auction items, a "Country Store" of homemade breads, jellies, crafts and fine "white elephants" will be set up to tempt participants.

Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults, and $3 for children under 12.
