Women's basketball fans are invited to attend the annual Golden Eaglette Awards Dinner, slated for 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 11, in the Tech Pride Room. The dinner is sponsored by First Tennessee Bank.

Coach Bill Worrell and his squad will gather for the yearly feast to present
team awards and to bid farewell to departing seniors Tynisha Alexander and Casey Bradford. The night's agenda includes the presentation of the Frank Porter Citizenship Award, the John P. Hendrix Leadership Award, MVP, Most Improved and Best Defensive Player honors.

In addition, players will be recognized for milestones achieved and individual
awards won, such as all-OVC.

The Golden Eaglettes posted an 21-8 overall record in 2004-05, finishing
third in the OVC, and reached the semifinals of the OVC tournament in Nashville.
