Baseball's no fun in the rain, especially for fans — and that's the exact predicament we faced in May when a storm washed out our annual "Tennessee Tech Night with the Sounds."

So the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 15, at Greer Stadium, where the Nashville Sounds will take on the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Coordinated by Alumni Relations, the event features a picnic at 4:30 p.m. on the Bullpen Deck. The game starts at 6 p.m., followed by a fireworks show. Plan to get there early, as the Sounds will be giving away Don Mattingly action figures to the first 2,000 fans through the turnstiles.

Tickets for adults are $10; youth tickets for ages 2-12 are $6; and children under 2 are admitted free.
