The Blood Assurance group is trying a new tactic to encourage increased blood donations on campus.

Beginning this fall, Blood Assurance will schedule donor programs with specific TTU departments or buildings. The brightly painted "Donorsaurus" blood drive bus will visit our Facilities and Business Services department Monday, Aug. 22, from noon to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. While the bus will be parked at the Facilities building, anyone from campus can visit to donate.

The second scheduled group drive will be Oct. 4 at the Appalachian Center for Craft, and a campus-wide event is on the calendar for Nov. 16-17 in the Roaden University Center. Mark your calendars now.
