Here's a great way to meet some of our newcomers this fall: a get-acquainted family picnic set for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28, at the upper pavilion area of Cane Creek Park.

Hosted by the Tech Women's Club for all Tech-affiliated women and their guests, the event guarantees great food and great people. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and an appetite; dinner will be catered by Stroud's. The picnic takes place rain or shine.
