If you're missing your daily swim at the Fitness Center, take heart: After extensive renovations, the pool and locker rooms are scheduled to re-open Friday, Sept. 2.

Currently, the locker rooms and deck are being painted, and a dressing room for parents and their children is being constructed. The pool is being resurfaced, and once it's been refilled, and the chemicals and temperature adjusted, it'll be ready for business.

As with all construction, however, delays are possible. So call the Fitness Center at 6212 before heading over for a dip.
