Mark Creter, English, makes his New York City directorial debut tonight during the New York International Fringe Festival, the largest multi-arts festival in North America. Creter, director of our Backdoor Playhouse, is directing the one-man show "The Rude Pundit in the Year of Living Rudely" by Lee Papa, who maintains the cult blog "The Rude Pundit." The performance opens in Dixon Place, a theater space originally intended for dramatic readings, but now one of Manhattan's more popular venues. The show has a two-week run, ending Aug. 26.
