During Wednesday's university faculty meeting, administrative appointments were announced and a number of new faculty welcomed.

In the College of Agriculture and Human Ecology, Wade Faw is serving as interim dean.

In the College of Arts & Sciences, Stephen Robinson has been appointed chairperson of Physics, and Marketta Laurila has been appointed chairperson of Foreign Languages. Jeff Boles is serving as interim chairperson of Chemistry, and Doug Talbert is serving as interim chairperson of Computer Sciences.

In the College of Education, Patricia Jordan is serving as interim chairperson of Health and Physical Education.

In the College of Engineering, Darrell Hoy has been appointed chairperson of Mechanical Engineering.

And in the School of Nursing, Sheila Green is serving as interim dean.
