Eblen Center opens the new year with the legends of basketball, the Harlem Globetrotters, at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 9. Known for their prowess on the court and showmanship, the Harlem Globetrotters have thrilled audiences for nearly 80 years — since their first game in Hinckley, Ill., on Jan. 7, 1927.
