Our May and June ambassadors have earned a reputation for helpfulness
among students, faculty and staff.
Melinda Bybee, technical clerk in Interdisciplinary
Studies and Extended Education, made coming back to school a lot
easier for Gina Key, who graduated in May.
"Many things have changed at TTU since I
was a student 10 years ago!" says Key. "I decided to work
on my Ed.S., and as soon as I started the process last August, Melinda
helped me in so many ways. From computer registration, schedule
changes, off-campus classes, etc., she was always eager to help
and very knowledgeable about campus procedures. She sure made my
year at TTU a more pleasurable experience!"
Stephen Emert, academic computing specialist in
Information Technology Services, helped faculty member Douglas Airhart
work out the kinks of a new computer system.
"Stephen provided excellent assistance with
selecting, installing and repairing my office and laptop computers,"
says Airhart. "He's very knowledgeable about technical information,
he had a quick response to my inquiries, and he was able to get
my new system operating before an important deadline, even though
it was very short notice for him."
