Ali T. Alouani, Electrical and Computer Engineering professor, has been selected to be included in the 2006-07 edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering. Published by Marquis Who's Who, the biographical reference chronicles the lives and careers of today's leading scientists and technological achievers and provides background information to the research community.

Wali Kharif, History professor, will be the featured interview on this season's first episode of "TTU Perspectives" on WCTE-TV. Host Karen Lykins, TTU's News Bureau Director, interviews Kharif about his latest book, "Reminisces and Reflections: African Americans in the Kentucky-Tennessee Upper Cumberland Since the Civil War." The show airs at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12.
