Looking
for the traditional Tennessee Early Intervention System Angel Tree?
For the past several holiday seasons, the tree had been located
on the ground floor of the Roaden University Center. Many generous
faculty, staff and students picked angels to provide gifts for each
year. This year the Angel Tree is located next to the Information
Desk on the RUC first floor - now more accessible than ever.
Some 300 angels are waiting this year who appreciate
the generosity of the TTU family. TEIS serves children with disabilities
from birth to age 3 and their families. The Angel Tree is just one
way TEIS helps.
Donations of household goods are also being accepted,
including paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent,
dishwashing liquid, bleach, etc. These items are things that cannot
be purchased with food stamps. For more information, contact Filomena
Palmer.
