TTU administrators discuss federal priorities with Sen. Lamar Alexander |

| U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander visited campus this week to learn about the university's priority needs for federal funding.
The senator met with TTU President Bob Bell and vice presidents Mark Hutchins, Marvin Barker, Susan Elkins, Claire Stinson, along with Dr. Francis Otuonye, associate vice president for Research and Graduate Studies. They discussed research projects and funding needs for which the university would seek federal support. Alexander expressed his support and gratitude to the university for its commitment to quality education for Tennessee.
