At the annual meeting in Louisville of the American Society for Engineering Education, two TTU faculty members, Benjamin Mohr and Don Visco, received awards for excellence in engineering education. Civil and Environmental engineering assistant professor Mohr received second place in the New Faculty Research Award. Chemical Engineering associate professor Visco accepted the Outstanding Campus Representative Award.

Zamer

Craig Zamer, visiting assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at TTU, has been named the director of the Mastersingers, the Upper Cumberland's premier community chorus. Zamer comes to TTU from Florida State University where he served as assistant conductor of the Tallahassee Community Chours, FSU Men's Glee Club and the Florida State University Singers.
