The Faculty Research Committee is soliciting proposals for funding for 2008-09. This year, proposals will be due at noon, Friday, Jan. 11, 2008.

All proposals must be hand-delivered and logged in at the Office of Research, Derryberry Hall, Room 306 before noon.

The maximum funding for a proposal is $4,000 per investigator. The Handbook for Faculty Research Committee Grants provides details about allowable expenses. The Handbook for the program is available through the Home Page for the Office of Research (www.tntech.edu/research/facultyresearchgrants.htm).
 
Faculty members interested in learning more about preparing proposals for consideration by the Faculty Research Committee are invited to attend one of two seminars sponsored by the Office of Research. The seminars begin at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, in the President’s Conference Room in Derryberry Hall.
