Applications are being accepted for Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments for 2008-2009. Those selected for a Non-Instructional Faculty Assignment for 2008-2009 may be released from all teaching duties for either the fall or spring semester or for one-half of all duties for the entire academic year.

The intent of this arrangement is to enable faculty to work on projects which are designed to contribute to professional growth, teaching effectiveness, and/or scholarship in ways that cannot be accomplished under the constraints of regular workload assignments.

Interested faculty, including chairpersons, should examine the guidelines for eligibility requirements and application instructions. Copies of the guidelines and application can be obtained by contacting Lorrie McCracken, Academic Affairs, at 3463 or lmccracken@tntech.edu. 

The deadline for completed applications is March 10.
