- Flip a Coin Baby
Summary: Simulate the probability of genetics based upon the flip of a coin and the genotype and phenotype of offspring created by parents (students) flipping a coin.

- Baby Bracelets
Summary: Tactile learning experience that makes students do genetics without punnet squares. They identify parent characteristics from beads on a bracelet and create a child and list features inherited from bracelets.

- How Many Babies?
Summary: This project looks at the needs of a newborn and what it take to meet those needs. It can be used if looking at adult to child ratios in a childcare center. Also, it can add a twist to discuss children with disabilities.

- Milestones
Summary: This can be done as a collage using old magazines or research historical dates of laws affecting children such as child labor laws, discipline, etc. or Chart out and create a timeline of expected milestones in the following areas of development. Fine/gross motor, social/cognitive, language

- Affirmation for All
Summary: Create a book for a young child to feature the child as the topic of the book to make child feel good. This can be done various ways to include Child Development classes with English classes and clothing classes by creating a project and create a t-shirt featuring each child’s self portrait. This improves the self-esteem of teens and toddlers with personalized books and/or t-shirts.
