The half-day session of Transfer Orientation is a wonderful opportunity to become familiar with Tennessee Tech's campus, faculty, staff and students. During your time on campus students will meet with representatives from TTU’s Financial Aid, Bursar (Business Office), and Scholarship offices to discuss tuition and fees. Students will also meet with departmental faculty and register for classes (if necessary).
*Students must arrange this meeting for registration and advisement prior to arriving at Transfer Orientation. Please refer to the Academic Department List for advisor contact information.
Below is a brief outline of the half-day Transfer Orientation session for Transfer Students and their guests. Students and guests will receive a detailed itinerary at check-in.

*Please be aware that lunch is NOT provided. Attendees need to arrive fed and ready to participate.
- Transfer Orientation Check-In begins at 12:00 pm central time
- Opening Meeting
- Informational sessions
- Academic Department Meeting
- Free Time (this will allow students to handle any necessary items while on campus)
*Please plan to be here until 4:30 pm central time. If registering for the upcoming semester, times may vary based on academic departments so we ask students and guests to plan accordingly.
