Enrollment Checklist

Already admitted to TTU?!  Or maybe you've just recently applied and are anxious to get those next steps done.  Here are some things you can do to make sure you hit the ground running!

Setup Your TTU Email Account
Yes, you already have a TTU Email Account! For instructions, click here.

Advisement
Transfer students will simply need to contact their academic department to set up a meeting with their advisor.

Scholarships
Who doesn’t love free money?! We recommend that all students, both incoming and current, apply for scholarships each year by the December 15 deadline (covers Fall, Spring, and Summer). This gives TTU scholarship committees a few months before offers are made around mid-Spring.  It's typically a quick online application, but some departments have additional application requirements. You can do this as soon as you apply by either using your Tech ID Number that you receive in the mail or by using the username and password that you created to apply. For more information visit:www.tntech.edu/scholarships/. The scholarship application is open yearly from August 15 to December 15.

Financial Aid (FAFSA)
Most of our students qualify for some type of financial aid, whether it be in the form of the Tennessee HOPE Lottery Scholarship, pell grant, or different types of loans.  The FAFSA is the form you complete to see if you qualify for aid.  We recommend that you fill the FAFSA out at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as you are able for the aid year that you are attending.  This is typically anywhere between 4 and 8 months before the term that you are applying for begins, but later is better than not at all!  Our FAFSA school code is 003523.  You may add our school code to your FAFSA even if you haven't applied yet, though you will not receive information about aid eligibility at TTU until you are admitted.

Once you are admitted to TTU and we have received your FAFSA information, then you can login to your Eagle Online account (you'll have a 'Financial Aid' tab) where you can see if you have any outstanding requirements or any awards posted to your account. For more information, visit the Office of Financial Aid.

Download the Financial Aid FAQs for more information.

Health Forms
Before registering for classes, we'd like to know a little bit about your health history.  We require documentation of two doses of MMR vaccinations and two doses of Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccinations (documentation of previous diagnosis or documented immunity test wil also suffice) via our Student Health Form.  This form will also ask for much more information that we recommend you provide for your benefit.  If it is not convenient to obtain these signatures, photocopying the immunization sheet from your health provider to attach it to the back of your Health Form will also suffice.  Students under 18 years of age should also submit the Hepatitis B and Meningitis Waiver Form with the signature of a parent or guardian.  You can find these forms at the Student Health Services Office.
