Effective and timely communication during a campus emergency is a priority for students, faculty and staff alike. A reliable solution for broadcast alerting is now available through TTUAlert.

TTUAlert is the notification system designed to notify students, faculty and staff about emergencies related to the university. TTUalert's main element is Text Message Notifications.  When an emergency happens on campus, you will be notifed via a text message to your mobile phone and your campus e-mail, alerting you to possible dangers and/or instructions.

Signing Up Parents, Spouses, Etc.
Only people with an @tntech.edu e-mail account or @students.tntech.edu can sign-up for TTUalert, but people can add more than one number to be notified.  Click here for directions on adding parents, spouses, guardians, or others that would be interested in recieving alerts from Tennessee Tech.

TTUAlert also has other elements, including posts on Tennessee Tech's social networking sites, such as Twitter and Facebook.  Also, for severe emergencies, a banner will show up on all pages of the Tennessee Tech web site.
