Opening an existing web from a local source

Opening a existing web that is on your local hard drive or on a removable disk:

  1. Select File --> Open Web

  2. The Open Web box opens as shown below

On the left there are five choices of where to look for webs...

  1. Click on My Documents (on the left)

  2. Look in folder name: C:\My Documents\My Webs\

  3. You will see a list of web folders as shown below

  1. Choose the web folder that you would like to open

  2. Click Open
    Note:  If you have upgraded from FrontPage 98 to FrontPage 2000 your older pages may be located in C:\Webshare\wwwroot\.
