Announcement - 2004 Catalog
Prof. Tolbert announced that the 2004 Catalog (CD) was just days away from delivered. A brochure has been developed with easy tips to finding links and providing the web address. The brochures will also be distributed to high school counselors and advisors, area public libraries, and given out during registration with the SOAR Program.
The official version of the catalog is in PDF and will be revised once a year. Future catalog changes will need to be submitted by the November Curriculum Committee dates for inclusion in the next year's catalog. The catalog goes through fall, spring and summer.
Prof. Tolbert expressed her appreciation to the committee for all of the work done with regards to the 120-hour curriculum changes.
Election of 2004-05 Chairperson
The nomination committee was comprised of Dr. Peach, Dr. Matson, and Dr. Northrup, who served as chairperson. Dr. Northrup nominated Ms. Julie Galloway as the 2004-05 Curriculum Committee Chairperson.
Dean D. Elkins moved that nominations cease and that Ms. Galloway be elected by acclamation. The motion was seconded and carried.
Other Such Matters
Prof. Tolbert stated with the new calendar next year and no exams on Friday, senior grades will be due by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, instead of 2:00 p.m. She stated that an email will be forthcoming with this information.
