UCWP 2011 Invitational Summer Institute

The 2011 UCWP Invitational Summer Institute is in full swing with the participants calling it a phenomenal experience of developing personal writing practices and sharing instructional strategies for the classroom while building a community/network of teachers, readers, thinkers, and writers who share a common goal of motivating young learners to seek knowledge and learning by employing critical thinking and expression through literacy.  The current 2011 UCWP Participants represent seven counties of the Upper Cumberland Region. These extraordinary teachers/writers are eager to share their experiences in the 2012 UCWP ISI with their students and colleagues throughout the coming school year. The leadership team is excited about the enthusiasm displayed by each of the exemplary teachers participating in this year's summer institute.
