Correspondence regarding admission should be addressed to the Office of Admissions, Box 5006, Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tennessee 38505. When requesting application forms, the student should indicate his/her present status in high school or college.
Admission policies and practices of the University are intended to assist students of varied backgrounds to gain admission. Race, color, creed, sex, or disabling conditions have no bearing upon admission to the University; however, the University actively seeks students of minority races and encourages them to apply for admission and to inquire about programs. Admission standards are designed to assure the student of the best possibility of success in college.
Prompt attention is given to each application but final action is not possible until all credentials are on file with the University. Students are advised to submit their applications during the fall or winter for admission for the following fall, or three months in advance for spring or summer admission. The application deadline date for receipt of the admission application, ACT scores, and appropriate transcripts is two (2) weeks before the first day of registration.
Upon acceptance, a student must complete health requirements prior to beginning classes.
The University reserves the right to modify admission policies and procedures as needed to ensure that enrollment does not exceed the facilities available.
