CAS 4910. Internship in Technology and
Community Development I. Lab. 2. Credit 1.
Prerequisite: Junior standing or above. From
media tutorials (CD-ROM, videotape, etc.), personal
tutorials, and workshops, the student learns at least
three state-of-the-art applications of current computer
technologies to community development projects. Student
must sign a written intention to complete
CAS 4910, 4920, and 4930. A-F grading.
CAS 4920. Internship in Technology and Community
Development II. Lab. 4. Credit 2.
Prerequisite: CAS 4910 or consent of the supervisor.
The student collaborates with others in a workshop
setting to practice at least three state-of-the-art
applications of current computer technologies to
community development projects. A-F grading.
CAS 4930. Internship in Technology and
Community Development III. Lab. 4-6.
Credit 2-3.
Prerequisite: CAS 4910 and 4920 or consent of the
supervisor. The student completes a community
development project, or a substantial, definable
part of a project, based on at least three
state-of-the-art applications of current computer
technologies. A-F grading.
CAS 4990. Internship in Web Design. Credit 6
Prerequisite: PC 4950. Part-time employment in a professional or
institutional situation related to web design.
