GENERAL CURRICULUM

Edith Duvier, Director

The General Curriculum program is recommended for freshmen students who are not quite ready to declare a major. The goal of the program is to help students make an educated decision on their major or career choice by assisting them in career exploration, providing academic support, and guidance. It is designed to encompass one academic year, but a student may be transferred at the end of any semester upon the request of the student and consent of his or her advisor. After General Curriculum students earn 60 semester hours, they must declare a major.
