ARED 3210. Secondary Art Education. Lec. 1. Studio 1. Field Exp. 1. Credit 3.
Prerequisite: ART 3200 or consent of instructor. Materials and methods of teaching art in Grades 7-12.

ARED 3220. Teaching Art Appreciation in the Schools. Lab. 1. Field Exp. 1. Credit 2.
Prerequisites: ART 3200, ART 4140, ART 2110 and ART 2120. Methods of teaching art appreciation in the public schools, Grades K-12.

ARED 3800-3810. Field Experiences in Education. Credit 2.
Corequisites: ART 3200 for ARED 3800; ART 3210 and ARED 3220 for ARED 3810. Supervised experiences in the public schools introducing program planning on elementary and secondary levels.

ARED 4870. Student Teaching I. Credit 5.
Corequisites: ARED 4880, 4890. Activities directly related to teaching performance, planning and presenting lessons, directing study and managing the classroom.

ARED 4880. Student Teaching II. Credit 5.
Corequisites: ARED 4870, 4890. Continuation of ARED 4870 in a different setting.

ARED 4890.  Seminar:  Education and Society.  Credit 2.
Corequisites:  ARED 4870, 4880.  Seminar on the interrelationships among school, culture and society; a historical, philosophical and sociological analysis.
