For pre-Health Science students Technical Requirements should include courses recommended or required by the intended professional school. Current requirements include courses from the following list:  BIOL 2010, 2020, 3230, 3810, 4040, ECON 2010, MATH 1530, but specific requirements for each school vary.  The student should consult the Pre-Professional Health Sciences advisors for current information.  Students pursuing a career outside the health sciences should work out a program of supporting coursework with the approval of the chemistry advisor.

2 Pre-professional students majoring in pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-pharmacy, pre-medical technology, pre-cytotechnology, pre-optometry and pre-dental hygiene electing to receive the Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Chemistry from Tennessee Technological University may use the first year of course work from an accredited professional school as their senior year after completing the first three years of this program outlined above.
