learning activities for the curriculum K-12.
CUED 4120 (5120). Materials and Methods for
Teaching Speech and Theatre. Lec. 3. Credit 3.
Prerequisite: Full admission to the second level. Corequisite: FOED 3820.
Principles, objectives, techniques, and evaluation in secondary school teaching
of
speech and elementary and secondary school teaching of theatre.
CUED 4150. Middle Level Curriculum.
Lec. 3. Credit 3.
Prerequisite: Full admission to the
Teacher Education Program. Corequisite for SEED majors
only: FOED 3830. An examination of the philosophy,
organization, and curriculum of middle level education,
including career awareness and exploration,
interdisciplinary team teaching, principles of classroom
management, and family involvement in the schools.
CUED 4850 (5850). Workshop in Education. Credit
1-6.
CUED 4851,
4852, 4853. Credit 1, 2, 3.
The course will provide up-to-date content in emerging educational issues for
inservice teachers. The specific topic will be designated in the title at each
offering. The number of hours of credit will be based on the magnitude of the
topic and the clock hours of face-to-face and/or online attendance. Course objectives
and grading guidelines will be established by the faculty at the time each course
is offered. May
be repeated for credit if the topic is different.
