University 1020 First-Year Connections is a course specially designed to help you build the academic, social, and professional connections you will need for a successful college career. In this one-credit hour course, you will be introduced to an assortment of University services, academic skills, and friendships that will make your adjustment to the vibrant life of our campus much easier.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic upperclassmen for University Connection Peer Mentors during the Fall 2014-Spring 2015 academic year. If you would like to provide guidance and support for the incoming freshman class, we encourage you to apply! Download the Fall 2014 Peer Mentor Application and submit it via mail or email by August 1, 2014. *Applicants CANNOT be graduating in December of 2014.
Being a peer mentor is a great way to get involved with the University, build your resume, and it provides you with additional leadership experience. More information about the Peer Mentor program is available within the application's details.
