Golfing, fishing on calendars for Golden Eagle activities

The Tennessee Tech Athletics Department will host two fund-raising events that have grown to be among the most popular in the region – one for fishing and one for golfing.

The Tech football program is the primary host of the Golden Eagle Bass Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, at Ragland Bottom Marina on Center Hill Lake.

The three-day Pepsi Golden Eagle Scramble, presented by Budweiser, is set for June 6-8, at three area golf courses. Once again, the tournament will feature the popular Friday night dinner and concert, and the Saturday night barbecue, in addition to the golf tournament at Ironwood and White Plains golf courses and the Cookeville Golf Club.

For information or registration for the golf tournament, please call (931) 372-3940. For the fishing tournament, the number to call is (931) 372-3930.
