Tech retires jerseys of Christian, Hagan

Jimmy Hagan was one of the nation’s most prolific scorers for Tennessee Tech during his career from 1957 to 1960. Emily Christian etched her name in the school and Ohio Valley Conference record books for her brilliant career leading the TTU women’s basketball team from 2002 to 2005.

Both of those former Tech basketball standouts were recognized in January when the university officially retired their game jerseys and raised banners displaying their numbers in Eblen Center. >>

Emily Christian's #40 and Jimmy Hagan's #42 were officially retired in honor of their outstanding contributions to Tech basketball.
