More national recognition for Tech

Tech has again been named one of the best universities in the south. Ranked as a “Best Southeastern College” by The Princeton Review, Tech is one of only five public universities in Tennessee to earn this designation. This is coupled with the university again being named one of “America’s 100 Best College Buys” by Institutional Research & Evaluation Inc., an independent research and consulting organization.

These are in addition to the previously announced honor as one of the Top Public Universities in the South as ranked by U.S.News & World Report for its guide, 2008 America’s Best Colleges.

“Our inclusion in these lists again this year reflects the commitment of our faculty and staff to making the student experience on campus positive and conducive to lifelong success,” said TTU President Bob Bell. “The lifelong success of our students is the true indicator of excellence, and rankings remind us to constantly measure our progress and strive to serve our students.”
