Brian Childers, a voice grad
uate of Tennessee Technological University, has pursued a successful career as an actor and singer in musical theater. He has appeared in Washington DC in The Robber Bridegroom and in The Prince in the World and Becoming George at Metrostage in Washington. He has appeared in off-Broadway productions, and at the Hollywood Bowl, as well as with the Staten Island Philharmonic Orchestra.
Richard Cox, tenor, gradua
ted from TTU and currently lives in New York City,where he enjoys a busy and successful singing career. He has performed with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, as well as with the Chicago Lyric Opera, the Frankfurt Opera in Germany, and the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile.
Blake Saldaña is a 2007 graduate of Tennessee Technological University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He has been the choir director at Stone Memorial High School in Crossville, Tennessee since 2007, and is an active member of the National Association for Music Education, Middle Tennessee Vocal Association, Tennessee Music Education Association, and American Choral Directors Association. Originally a native of Nashville, TN, Blake currently resides in Cookeville, TN, with his wife Annette.
Grace Burris is from Gallatin, TN. She graduated from Tennessee Tech in 2008 with a degree in Vocal/General Music Education. She taught for four years at Madison Creek Elementary School in Goodlettsville, TN. She is currently teaching music at Beech Elementary School in Hendersonville, TN.
Ms. Angela Beale is beginning her third year since 2008 at Lincoln County High School. In her first year with Lincoln County, Ms. Beale taught the students of Stone Bridge Academy and Lincoln County High School. She continues to teach at Lincoln County High and is now reviving the choral program at Ninth Grade Academy.
Prior to teaching in the Lincoln County School System, Ms. Beale taught 5th - 8th Grade students in Putnam County and 9th -12th Grade students in Tullahoma City. Ms. Beale has shared musical experiences with students at every grade level through teaching Chorus, Show Choir, Dance, General Music, Music Theory and Music Appreciation courses.
In Lincoln County, Ms. Beale is the director of three classroom vocal performance ensembles: LCHS Fall Chorus, LCHS Spring Chorus, and NGA Chorus. For non-performing students, Ms. Beale teaches Music Appreciation. Outside the regular school day, Ms. Beale conducts a performance ensemble for all 9-12 students Show Choir. This performance group presents music productions that incorporate vocal music with challenging choreography and staging.
