WelcFred Kennedy webome to the Tennessee Technological University Voice Division.  The Department of Music department offers a Bachelor of Music with a vocal/general music licensure, and a Bachelor of Music Performance with an applied study in voice. Vocal study is taught by a distinguished faculty of nationally and internationally recognized credentials. The members of the faculty are active performers, clinicians, and pedagogues who have had students become successful teachers, graduate students in some of the best conservatories and universities.  Moreover, there are former students who are now performing in some of the most noted national and international opera companies and musical theater venues.

The Vocal Studios, Vocal Ed and Choral Division are comprised of diverse faculty backgrounds, but deeply share a commitment to collaborate in helping the student’s vocal development, becoming aware of student concerns, and support student expectancies.

Students and faculty regularly meet for divisional recitals, master classes, and other special occasions. Performance opportunities are available also in the excellent choral ensembles and opera workshop. These classes meet the curricular needs of the voice student while providing performance opportunities.
