Cookeville Regional Medical Center is again offering its popular vascular screening, blood chemistry, and bone density screening. Appointments are necessary for these three services.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, retirees and their dependents can all take advantage of these services and information. A limited number of FREE Lipid Profiles are available to current TTU students.
"Becoming aware of your current state of health is the first step in correcting any problems that might exist," said David Mullinax, director of Campus Recreation and Fitness Center.
"I personally have found information that has saved my life and am aware of many of our colleagues that have been alerted to potential health problems during the Health Fair. Please consider asking a colleague to join you in spending your lunch break visiting the exhibits and purchasing a healthy lunch from Chartwells. No matter what your interest, I believe you will find valuable information to help you lead a healthier life."
For more information about the medical screenings that are available, check the website or call Campus Recreation at 372-6511 or 372-6210.
