Tennessee Tech University students in the Residence Halls Association and Hall Councils collected more than $1,100 for donations to the Angel Tree fund this year. Cassie Tesauro, sophomore journalism student and president of the Jobe/Murphy Hall Council; Paige Foster, sophomore civil engineering major and Jobe Hall Council member; and Lee Gatts, freshman political science student and RHA president, helped coordinate the Angel Tree fundraising program on campus. The RHA is a student organization created to support the quality of life for students who live in campus residence halls. Over the past four years, the RHA has collected $4,413 for various charitable organizations, including Angel Tree, Union University tornado relief and the Jere Whitson Elementary School fund.
