New at the Women's Center
Equal Pay Day highlighted the 23% gap between women's and men's average earnings. Are you ready to do something about this inequity? Among the many ideas postulated for bridging the gap are greater financial literacy for women, starting a wage club, and working for legislative change. The Women's Center has a small collection of women-specific titles that offer advice on leadership, interviews, resumes, and responsibility juggling. We also have Suze Orman's latest book, Women and Money, available for check out. If you are interested in joining a WAGE club to discuss the wage gap and look for solutions, please email or drop by.
The Women's Center belongs to students, staff, and faculty. If you'd like to start a book club or support group, we're happy to discuss the possibilities. We want to help you reach your goals.
