AGGREGATE ANALYSIS Thanks to a project Dr. H. Wayne Leimer, professor of Earth Sciences, is working on through the Center, TTU has the only lab at a university in Tennessee to be validated to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. According to Leimer, a lab must undergo a quality control plan review and submit other required documents to be considered. The Earth Sciences Department lab is validated to perform aggregate analysis under the American Society for Testing and Materials C295 standard.
