Environmental Social Issues and Education
Certain populations may be more at risk from environmental hazards than others because of socioeconomic conditions. These environmental social issues are analyzed by Center researchers in an effort to provide environmental justice. The Center's faculty and associates are also involved in projects to educate the general public on issues of concern relating to the environment or the sciences.
The following is a project related to environmental social issues and education that was activated in the 2010-2011 fiscal year.
