Visit Campus

Choosing the right college is an important decision and we want to help you make a choice that is right for you. One of the best ways to learn about Tennessee Tech is to visit the campus. Visitors can see, first-hand, why Tennessee Tech has been ranked so highly by a variety of reports and rankings organizations. You can see our many rankings, such as "Top Regional University in the South" by U.S. News & World Report and "Best in the Southeast" by The Princeton Review, by clicking here.

Tennessee Tech offers scheduled campus visits all year long and it only takes about 5 minutes to register! Scheduled visits begin at both 9:00am CT and 12:00pm (noon) CT each weekday. If you are attending an afternoon visit and do not wish to eat lunch on campus, please arrive by 12:45 pm CT. Campus visits last about four and a half hours when participating in all aspects of the prepared visit. We welcome parents and family members to come and visit the campus with their student as well.

In the event that inclement weather occurs, please refer to the " Tech's homepage" to determine whether any University closures exist. If you are uncomfortable making the trip, please call us at 931-372-3888 and we will be happy to reschedule your visit for another day.

Whether you have a group from a school, church, or other organization, we'd love to have your group visit our campus. Group tours give prospective students the essential information about Tennessee Tech.

These tours usually include a group meeting with an Admissions Counselor and a walking tour of the University. Groups may choose to eat in our dining facilities at a group rate. Other accommodations (based on specific group characteristics) may also be arranged.

Many students that come on a group visit will want to schedule a VIP Campus Visit on their own or with their family at a later date. (Click on the What's included in a visit?" tab)

Please Note: Our availability to host group visits during the months of October and March is limited due to a high number of individual families visiting during fall and spring breaks. Please contact our office at (931) 372-3888 to determine availability for large groups during these months.

If you are interested in scheduling a group visit, please contact our office at 931-372-3888 or visit@tntech.edu.
