Eligibility
  • Must be currently enrolled at Tennessee Tech as a full-time student.
  • Applicants should be an upcoming sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student status. Applicants should have completed 30 semester hours of coursework and should be able to serve for at least two consecutive semesters.
  • Must maintain a 2.50 cumulative GPA.
  • Willing to volunteer at least 14 hours per semester.
Responsibilities
  • Golden Eagle Guides provide campus tours to prospective students and their families at least one time per week. Tours last approximately one hour and begin at either 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM.
    • Guides will receive early registration to build their course schedule around hours required by the campus visit program.
  • Guides also assist the Campus Visits & Events Program during other programs such as Saturday visits, college fairs, Preview Day - Open Houses, and other on-campus recruitment events.
  • Guides will be expected to participate in on-going training throughout their role in order to develop into a successful Golden Eagle Guide.
