Congratulations to Hunter Isbell, Michaela Thompson, and Teagan Montgomery who were initiated into Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. Lisa Welch and Katelyn Webb were also invited but unable to attend. The event was held Wednesday March 4 th.

Omicron Delta Kappa is a National Leadership Honor Society that was founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University. There are five phases of campus life for which ODK recognizes and encourages achievement:

  1. Scholarship
  2. Athletics
  3. Campus or community service, social and religious activities, and campus government
  4. Journalism, Speech, and the Mass Media
  5. Creative and Performing Arts

While academic achievements are important in considering students for possible membership (we suggest a minimum QPA of 3.0), they must have exhibited leadership in at least one other phase of campus life.
