Pre-Vet Club

Who We Are

TTU Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club is one of the newer clubs at Tennessee Tech University's School of Agriculture. The Pre-Vet Club is a chance for students of all grades to come together and discuss everything from classes to the vet school application process. Members see first hand the application process through the seniors' experiences as well as the struggles of classes through other members. Advice flows freely between members.

Our fundraisers are mostly working events at the Hyder-Burks Pavillion. This fundraiser as well as membership dues fund our vet school tours, including our visit to the University of Tennessee and Mississippi State University last year. We are also increasing our presence in the community by working with the Cookeville/ Putnam County Animal Shelter.

Meetings

We meet on the second Thursday of every month to discuss upcoming events, speak with local veterinarians or vet school representatives, and allow the members to bring up questions. We are a growing club and would love for anyone interested in Pre-Veterinary Medicine to come on out.
