Study Abroad ›
The College of Business at TTU is proud to offer study abroad programs to its students. We aim to personally customize your trip to best fit your academic and financial needs, location and cultural interests, and desired abroad experiences. Specific to the COB, we have two main study abroad opportunities:
Internships play a massive role in departments across the entire College of Business. Featured to the left is PJ Barnes, who recently interned with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center. Below is the testimonial he provided about his internship experience.
“I gained so many personal and business skills over the last year. I have been able to look at the ins and outs of businesses, which has helped me start my own business. I have also developed some more tangible skills like marketing, SEO, website design, photography, and videography. My communication skills have also vastly improved over the last year. Without this internship, I wouldn’t know what a professional, or even business casual workplace would be like. It changed the way I am preparing for after I graduate."
The Department of Decision Sciences & Management offers a variety of co-curricular leadership and learning opportunities to qualifying students through student organizations and honors societies. Each organization has a faculty advisor, if not multiple. Therefore, our students can network and collaborate with faculty in and out of the classroom. Please check out their spotlight lights below for more information about them and the contact information for getting involved.
COB Student Ambassadors are students from all business majors whose activities include assisting at college and university functions; recruiting new students through visits and correspondence; and promoting college spirit through events like Business Foundations meetings, Homecoming activities, etc. Ambassadors can be any classification with a preferred 3.0 GPA. New Ambassadors are selected each fall semester by an application and interview process.
