About the Program
Welcome to the Department of Economics, Finance, and Marketing, part of the College of Business at Tennessee Technological University. Our goal is to provide our students with an innovative learning experience that teaches them the necessary analytical and critical thinking skills to succeed in today’s competitive environment
During the first two years, students take several core classes that build the foundation of their training, and in the last two years students immerse themselves in classes that allow them to specialize in the field of their choice. These classes are taught on the beautiful Tennessee Tech campus and online.
Our B.S.B.A in Marketing combines the creative aspects of the discipline with its technical demands. We offer classes on Consumer Behavior, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, Services Marketing, Advertising, and Design Thinking.
Our graduates have had successful careers in industry, government, and academia. Some of the companies they have worked for are: Fidelity Investments, Bank of America Private Bank, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, First National Bank of Tennessee, Pepsico, Xerox, and IBM.
