Licensing and Credentialing
Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD): For the time period 2008-2018, 168 students graduated from the Tennessee Tech DPD program with a Verification statement. Of these, 91 (of 168) applied to a supervised practice program (internship) within 12 months of their graduation for an application rate of 54%.

DPD Results: Of the 91 students who applied for supervised practice within 12 months of graduation, 61 were accepted for a graduate acceptance rate of 67%. The national average for acceptance into a dietetic supervised practice program is currently 56%. Other students who applied to graduate school first or waited longer than 12 months to apply are not included in this analysis.
