Details

The Tennessee Tech University Orchestra will perform its final concert of the semester. The orchestra will perform Handel's "Music for the Royal Fireworks" and a short 18th century comic opera, "The Maid as Mistress" by Pergolesi. The opera will be sung by students Nathan Anderson and Gretchen Hanna, both members of Assistant Professor Chris Reames' Opera Scenes class.

The University Orchestra is conducted by Professor Dan Allcott and is an all-student ensemble. Participation is open to all qualified students on campus. For more information, contact Professor Allcott at dallcott@tntech.edu.

Concert will be in the Wattenbarger Auditorium of the Bryan Fine Arts building located at 1150 N. Dixie Ave., Cookeville.

This concert is free and open to the public.
