Physics courses

Note that a student may not earn credit in both PHYS 2010 (algebra-based Physics I) and PHYS 2110 (calculus-based Physics I) or in both PHYS 2020 (algebra-based Physics II) and 2120 (calculus-based Physics II). Also, credit will not be given for both PHYS 1310 (Cocepts of Physics) and any of the above courses.


Astronomy courses

ASTR 1010 focuses on the history of astronomy and on the solar system. ASTR 1020 focuses on the tools of astronomy and the rest of the universe beyond the solar system. These two courses may be taken in any order.

Below are the anticipated course offerings by semester for the coming few years. Note that Special Topics classes (PHYS 1901 etc, PHYS 4901 etc, PHYS 5900) are only offered based on student demand and necessity.
