A symposium titled “An Introduction to
Blockchain, Bitcoin and CryptoEconomics” will be held Friday, April 13 at 10
a.m. in the Johnson Hall auditorium on Tech’s campus. The symposium aims to
examine the future of globalization from both local and global perspectives.
April 14 | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Hooper Eblen Center
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event will feature performances of a global variety, including Irish step dancers, Middle Eastern Dance, Flamenco dancers, Latin Zumba and the Chinese Lion Dance, among others.
The festival will be filled with the sounds of German, Cuban, Middle Eastern and Indian music and the flavors of international cuisine including German, African, Mexican, Columbian, Filipino, Italian, Indian, Lebanese, Egyptian, Syrian, Bosnian, Greek, French, Persian, Polish and American foods.
Children are invited to participate in Hands Around the World, a craft space featuring 10 crafts children can make that are each tied to different world cultures. All craft activities are free.Fine crafts from around the globe will be available for purchase as well.
